No. Our leagues are open to a wide range of skill levels. From new players looking to learn, to experienced players who want competitive play. We group teams to keep games fun and fair.

All games and events take place on Parksville Beach, British Columbia, one of the best beach volleyball locations on Vancouver Island (best in the country if you ask us).
Our beach volleyball season runs May - August. Registration typically opens in the winter with leagues, tournaments, and camps running throughout the summer. Follow us on Midseason to be the first to know about new leagues, camps, and tournaments!
Beach volleyball is played rain or shine whenever it’s safe to do so. In the case of extreme weather or unsafe conditions, we’ll communicate any cancellations or changes in advance.
Summer session registration will open in April.
Yes, we have lots of co-ed teams in our leagues. They register in the boys/men’s division.
Only one registration and payment is needed per team. Create an account on Midseason and ask your teammate to invite you to the team. IF you have an android, you will have to wait until the app is available on the Google Play store - it's on it's way soon!
Having app issues?
Please check your Spam and Junk folders. It's common to see them hiding there. In some cases, email providers will completely block what they believe are spam emails. If you are experiencing any issues when signing up with email, please try signing up with Apple or Google.
Midseason is now available on Android! Please download the app, create your Athlete account and follow the instructions to register!
Please email nathan@midseason.app with your username, and the name of the event you registered for and we will send you and invite to join your team. If you can remember your team name please include that as well!
Only one member from your team is responsible for registration and payment. Once complete, there is no other action needed from the other team members.
Two options here:1. Create the Athlete account under their name and follow registration as usual.2. Create the Athlete account under your name. From your profile page select "Add Profile" to add a dependent. After adding their profile, you will see your name and your childs name under "Register As" - double check you have the correct profiles selected.
First, team members need to have a profile on Mideason.On the league registration page, scroll down below "Team Name" and tap "Add Team Members," search for their name(s) and tap "Add."If you're trying to add a dependent, see the FAQ below.
1. From your home page, tap on your team2. Tap "Team Members"3. Tap "Add Team Member"4. Tap "Send Invitiation"In order to add people to your team, they need an Athlete account on Midseason. After they make an account they will show up in the app.
When on the registration page for an event, tap "Add Team Members" and search for the name of the parent account. For privacy reasons, dependent accounts are tied to their parent accounts.Accepting an invitation for a dependent: The parent account will recieve the team invitation on behalf of their dependent, where they will then select which profile is accepting and away you go!

Inside the league home page you will see your team's matches front and center, you can also view lots of goodies inside Session Draw.
When a team member checks in, it checks the entire team in for that day (we call them sessions in Midseason). Organizers have the ability to change your check-in status if needed.
